Our society is obsessed with beauty. Not just any beauty, but perfect beauty. Our society enables an image that will never be able to achieve. A focus on beauty that is not only unrealistic, but also destructive in its ways.
I would never want to look like this, no offense to Stephanie (below) But it kind of scares me

Since beauty is considered everything, thousands and thousands of people strive for perfect beauty on a daily basis. More than once their great efforts result in horrible failure, which leads to feelings of inadequacy and depression. People aren’t good enough anymore, not just women, both men and women are determined me meet the scale of perfect beauty. Our society has lost touch with reality. We find fault in everything and everyone, including ourselves.
Ask yourself this: “When was the last time you looked in the mirror and were happy with the way you looked?”
What do you hate about your image? Your deep-set eyes, dark circles, button nose, big ears, crooked teeth, tiny lips, and even big lips. Well stop focusing on the things you hate and look in that mirror and tell yourself the beautiful things about yourself. Also begin to love the things you hate because that’s what makes you different from the person next to you!
I know your thinking “why are you writing about this you love beauty products and etc.” Well I do love beauty products and I do love looking beautiful however I do things my own way 100% of the time all the time. I do what makes me look and feel good. I’ll be the first one to say the way I look and dress and act are not always trendy or what’s fashionable or “in” but I am me and I love me!
XOXO,
Ally
